Wonderful, cormfortable, Homey place to stay

I have to say that this vacation house was larger and nicer than our house back home. We loved staying here. With three large bedrooms, 3.5 baths, full kitchen, washing machine/dryer and outside decks on each floor and private driveway this place was fabulous. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Since we have allergies we liked the fact that the property was non-smoking and no pets. We slept in the upstairs bedroom which had plenty of room and was very comfortable. And as everyone else has raved about the views it's true - they are fantastic. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking wine and watching the sun set over the mountains. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house is well appointed and very comfortable. We had no cell phone service but the WiFi helped. Note that the WiFi seemed sporadic at night and was sometimes very slow. This house could easily accommodate six people. Renting through Range properties was quick and easy - they were very helpful. We conducted the entire transaction via phone and email. Access to the condo was easy. A few notes if you decide to go. First the condo is more than 4.5 miles from intersection of 66 and 34. 2+ miles drive uphill from entrance (that's why it has fantastic views). The last mile or so is a dirt road. No problem driving to the property each day though - just had to follow the street signs. Upon arrival we had difficulty finding the condo in the dark using the GPS. We did not realize that addresses xx21 and xx23 are a duplex and share a driveway. From the street in the dark we could only see the xx23 sign. So follow the printed directions from Range and come during daylight if you can which makes the place much easier to find. All in all we definitely enjoyed our quiet, relaxing stay and the property and would definitely stay here again perhaps with more friends.

Great place , super views , enjoyable stay

This was a wonderful birthday get away for us. The condo was inviting and comfortable. I especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen from spices to utensils . The views were so beautiful that it was hard to leave the area. The big challenge was the way up and down to the condo but somehow we made it and it was well worth the drive. Cannot wait to go back with friends and family. It lived up to its name.

Great view, comfortable home environment, lots of room, good amenities.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Kitchen is well stocked to prepare anything you like. Appliances excellent (refrigerator, washer/dryer), bathroom fixtures in good condition. With 3.5 baths and 3 bedrooms, it could easily have slept 10 people. Very roomy, 3 level home. Our one negative is that it is difficult to find - it took us about five trips to get it right coming up the mountain. We have traditionally stayed closer to town but really enjoyed staying here - with the views and the balconies you don't have to be in RMNP the entire time.

Truly Fantastic Views

Very nice condo with great views. Only disadvantage (or advantage) is it is a bit off the beaten path.

Fantastic Views Indeed

The views from this vacation home are awesome. You won't find a better view from a house in or around Estes Park. All 3 bedrooms are very big and the 3 1/2 bathrooms were great. The neighborhood (on the side of a mountain) was very quite and private. At the end of the day it's nice to sit outside on the deck and enjoy that view. I wish the deck chairs were more comfortable, we would have sat out there even longer. The only problems we noticed was very limited cell phone reception, which considering the location is to be expected, and no Wi-Fi internet service. The house has Wi-Fi but the signal for guests was too weak to be able to access anything. Not a big deal, we were on vacation in the Rocky Mountains! The rental process through Range Property Management was very simple and a good experience.

Yes! The views really are fantastic!

We had a very comfortable stay as we had so much room to spread out with our 3 "children" ages 15, 19 and 22. Just so you know, this is a 3-level duplex, not a single-level house. (We were a bit confused upon driving up as the picture doesn't really show this nor, is it ever referred to when they give you directions) The drive up to it is a bit long but, you are rewarded with a spectacular view once you finish the climb! The place is furnished in an eclectic array of furniture from the 70's and 80's but, all was very clean and very comfortable. We chose to stay in the 3rd level loft and give the "kids" the lower level to themselves. (The bedrooms are enormous!) The 3rd floor doesn't have a door so, it is not very private and the quilt is too small for the king-sized bed but, no matter. We were happy and slept well. The kitchen was furnished quite well and there wasn't a pan or bowl that I wasn't able to find and the knives were razor sharp! (Make sure you bring everything you need for picnic supplies, like baggies, saran wrap, etc.) The only thing lacking was a bigger deck so that we could all eat, or lounge outside, and enjoy the view a little better. Although, the big picture windows on the main level allow you to enjoy the view from inside. (There is also only 1 hair dryer, in the Master bedroom.) This truly was a very roomy and comfortable place for our family of 5 to stay!

Fantastic accommodation

Lucky to have found this mountain home for vacation rental. Owners taking loving care of it for themselves as well as renters. Interior has a "retro" look but amenities and appliances are modern, new or updated. Kitchen has everything you need, except a blender. (At least I couldn't find one.) Owners love their mountain home; my family and I loved it, and so will you.

Michelle Harrison Estes Park vacation 2010

This was the third year we have stayed in Fantastic Views and it was pleasant as always. The view of the Rocky Mountain range is breathtaking to wake up to and to look at all day. Its relaxing and enjoyable to watch the storms come over the mountains and to watch the sunset. Running down the mountain was fun, but running up it was a workout- I loved it. If I could suggest a few things they would be as follows: some comfortable deck furniture and directions on how to use the DVD player. We tried to figure it out but the directions on the sheet provided in the condo do not work. Otherwise, everything was great. Thank you!

We called Fantastic Views our "daily mountain drive"...

What an absolutely awesome place! Our trip was planned by we three daughters to spend some quality time with our elderly (youthful) parents. Mom and Dad had requested Estes Park, Colorado, because of some family memories. We loved the fact that Fantastic Views is private, quiet, breathtaking views whatever time of day you are looking, and full of creature comforts. Our official family portrait was captured in front of the fireplace. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful is now a new memory in our family.

We had a wonderful time.

The house was wonderful. There was literature that said there was internet access that we never found, but that was the only glitch. The view was fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable.

It doesn't get any better than this

My wife and I have been to this condo a number of times. It's the only "repeat stay" we can remember in all our travels. For us, it is the perfect place. The view of the Rocky Mountain National Park is a totally, and I mean totally, unobstructed view of the mountains. All the houses/condos in this area are built on the side of a mountain, so the neighbor's house across the street is only visible by looking down on the roof (probably 75 feet away and 20 feet below the condo's living area). The condo was updated this past year with new carpet, interior painting, lighting fixtures and kitchen upgrades. It is spacious with 3 large bedrooms, two of which have the view of the Rockies. The third is an enclosed "loft" bedroom above the living room. It is a quiet area and a nice stroll throughout the neighborhood is always peaceful and relaxing. It's a 10-minute ride to Estes Park for shopping or 5 minutes to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. You will be glad you stayed here.

Fantastic Views indeed!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is aptly named as the views are stupendous. We enjoyed hiking up the mountain immediately behind the property on national forest land adjacent to the park, and had the whole mountain to ourselves. The home was quite serviceable, though the decor was a bit dated. The only drawback was having to take the garbage down the hill--there was no outdoor receptacle available on property though hpefull this has been corrected.
